'money'

the project explores different representations of money. it was inspired by the bitcoin debate. through history money has taken the most diverse forms, e.g. the katanga cross, the maria theresia thaler, and the English pound sterling note. in the representation of money motives of power to attest origin and value have often been used. bitcoin now leads to total abstraction due to its digital form in the blockchain. money becomes a series of numbers and letters.
